Purpose:
The purpose of this policy is to establish the schedule for faculty meetings and the process for calling special faculty meetings at Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC).
Scope:
This policy applies to all members of Faculty Assembly, the President, and the Vice President for the College.
Policy:
Faculty meetings are scheduled as needed by members of the Faculty Assembly but are usually held monthly during the academic year. Under special circumstances, a faculty meeting may be called by the President or, as he/she so directs, the Vice President for the College. Whenever possible, the agenda will be distributed to the faculty prior to the time of the called meetings. Meetings shall be called with as much advance notice as possible.
Compliance:
All Faculty Assembly members, the President and the Vice President for the College should comply with this policy.
