06:06:01:00 Classification of Employees and Their Families for Tuition and Fee Purposes

Purpose:

It is the policy of Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) to provide classification of employees, and their spouse and children for purposes of fees and tuition.

Scope:

This policy is applicable to all DSCC regular full-time employees, their spouses and children, for classification for purposes of fees and tuition. It does not apply to student workers, adjunct faculty, and temporary workers.

Policy:

All regular full-time employees, their spouses and children shall be classified as in-state students for purposes of fees and tuition when enrolled in courses at DSCC or any other institution or school governed by the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR). See TBR Policy 3:05:01:00 to determine status of spouses and children of individuals who are employed at Fort Campbell.

Compliance:

All DSCC employees are expected to adhere to this policy.
