Purpose:
The purpose of this policy is to set forth expectations concerning faculty members’ attendance at graduation/commencement ceremonies at Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC).
Scope:
This policy applies to all full-time faculty members.
Policy:
It is expected that all full-time faculty members will attend graduation/commencement exercises. Excused absences may only be granted by the President of the College. Adjunct faculty members may attend the graduation exercises and march along with the regular faculty members if they so desire.
Compliance:
All full-time faculty members are expected to comply with this policy.
